Merlin's Magic
My life changed at the Merlin Theatre in Frome. In early Spring 2025 I went to watch Heal Somerset's magical documentary about the transformation of a 460 acre somerset diary farm into a rewilding project. I remember being close to tears, the audiences' enthusiastic applause and the collective hope that Heal Somerset offers in these ecologically troubling times. Within a week I had joined Heal as a regular land management volunteer. Over the last six months I have met some amazing people with a deep love and knowledge of nature. These blogs are a celebration of my hands-on experience of rewilding whilst also exploring the philosophy and issues around restoring nature.
